TMTR Training Standards
The Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable (TMTR) began as a guild of professional mediators and trainers whose work through the years has guaranteed the quality of training for mediators by setting quality standards.
Since its inception, the TMTR has established standards for the 40-Hour Basic Mediation Training and the 30-Hour Family Mediation Training. In addition, the Roundtable has provided other guidance on training methodologies.

Online mediation training courses that are both at the same time LIVE and INTERACTIVE for the entirety of the course, conducted by a trainer who verifies in training materials and certificates of completion that their program satisfies and meets the Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable’s standards, are meeting the Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable (TMTR) standards.
